Collection of High Schoolers who Appreciate Culture, History, and Archeology (CHACHA)

Collection of High Schoolers who Appreciate Culture, History, and Archeology (Formerly known as the Archaeology Club) is an organization that meets several times a month during the lunch hour. Members will hear guest lecturers from the University of Minnesota graduate program in anthropology/archaeology, assist in local excavations (during the summer), assist in laboratory work (during the school year), discuss archaeology, and view archaeology-related movies for fun. The mission of this club is to introduce students to the exciting world of archaeology both by education in the scientific discipline and active participation. Open to all students.
