How has your high school experience impacted your life?

CDH provided a fantastic foundation both personally and professionally. The academics, athletics and extracurricular activities were instrumental in developing the foundation of values, ethics and leadership that continue to be fundamental in my life. I learned that hard work and persistence leads to opportunities, sometimes planned but more often unforeseen.

What advice would you give a current CDH student?

Take advantage of your time at CDH, it will go quickly. Take advantage of the opportunity to pursue your interests, get involved, and try new things. Don’t be afraid to fail so long as you learn in doing so and remain humble in victory.

What does being a graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall mean to you?

It means to be a member of a community that supports each other in good times and bad. At each significant event in my life I have been able to depend on my friends from CDH as well as the larger community. CDH even reached out after the death of my father which demonstrated the loyalty and care they feel to the student body.

What is your favorite memory of high school?

There are too many great memories to pick just one. However, more than any class, event or game, I remember and am grateful for the people who supported me during my time at CDH. The incredible friends, dedicated teachers, talented teammates and patient coaches all made a positive and lasting impact on me that I continue to appreciate to this day.

Why is it important to you to support our school?

Supporting CDH is natural due to the support they have shown me over the years.  With each new generation of students, we need to continue to build the CDH community.
