How has your high school experience impacted your life?

My high school experience opened my eyes to the diversity of backgrounds and views. It provided me with the foundation and tools necessary to succeed in a dynamic environment, and gave me the foundation from which I continue to build. CDH has also provided me with friends and memories that will last forever.

What advice would you give a current CDH student?

Dream big, surround yourself with people who dream bigger and never underestimate the power of hard work. In the process, seek out different perspectives, backgrounds and cultures, and strive to be around people that are different from you in more ways than one. Travel is an amazing way to achieve that. And last, but certainly not least, be kind to those who cross your path. For starters, it always feels better to be kind, and second, chances are your paths will cross again.

What does being a graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall mean to you?

Graduating from Cretin-Derham Hall means you are a member of a community with a rich tradition and prestigious alumni list. It forces you to work hard everyday to exceed expectations and maintain its great reputation.

What is your favorite memory of high school?

Morning runs on the mondo. PFP retreats. MWF 8am summer practice. Loading the bus to UST on Fridays. Playing in the Dome.

Why is it important to you to support our school?

Paying it forward to the next generation of students is essential to keep the pipeline of success for CDH. I certainly did not get to where I am alone, and I don’t expect our next generation of leaders to either.
