121st Cretin High School Alumni Banquet Enjoyed By All

The 121st Cretin Alumni Banquet was held September 14 in the Joe Mauer Field House at Cretin-Derham Hall. Mass was offered before the banquet in the Pax Christi Chapel on the campus.
The Amazing Hondo, John Hughes'70, was this year's keynote speaker and entertainment. As a former math teacher turned speaker-magician, the Amazing Hondo inspired the crowd with ‘stories from the circuit’ and the value of his Cretin classroom experience.
The Golden Jubilee Class of 1967 was recognized for their 50th-anniversary reunion along with the Cretin Class of 1957 as they celebrated their 60th-anniversary reunion.
In honor of celebrating 100 years of JROTC excellence, Frank Miley, J. D., President, announced and recognized the Cadet Colonels that were in attendance: James T. Kelly, Jr.'45, John D. Herrick'50, John A. McMahon'51, M. James Toner'57, Thomas E. Carroll'60, Richard J. Bacigalupo'67, Kevin P. Deming'69, and Donald T. Geng'71.
The Diamond Officers were also specially recognized for their dedication and support of CDH.
