Advent Activities Lead CDH to Christmas
December 12, 2018
Cretin-Derham Hall wishes everyone a peaceful Advent season in preparation for Christmas.
The community has been busy getting into the Christmas spirit. In addition to daily Mass and prayer, special events and activities at CDH include an Advent Prayer Service, the Children’s Christmas Show, the Choir Christmas Dinner, the Christmas Concert, Reconciliation, and multiple service projects.
A highlight of this Christmas season has been the addition of a beautiful Nativity scene in a custom cabinet that was thoughtfully donated by the Peirson family and on display for the first time at CDH. Read more and see the photos.
In addition, the Holy Family in the Manger can be found under the tall, lighted evergreen trees off Hamline Avenue and provides a favorite place for neighbors and friends to reflect on the humble Christmas story.
