Alumni Career Day Inspires Students

Fourteen distinguished alumni from different career backgrounds visited CDH on January 17, 2019, as part of Junior Jumpstart/Alumni Career Day. CDH welcomed back: Jim Vanek '01, Kate Townley '00, Mike Oxley '03, Craig Twombly '89, John Bina '86, Brian Nalipinski '96, Frank Miley, Jane Metzger Von Haden '80, Anne Troskey Balfour, DDS '96, Siobhan Tolar '01, Dawn Reding '88, Dan Walsh '89, Margaret Hughes Todora '10, Bill Robertson '79, Katie Russell Etten '98.
Juniors spent the second half of the day listening to panels of alumni that provided students with a relatable link to the real world, hands-on expertise, and concrete examples of how academics relate to future opportunities.
The moderators of the sessions were Tony Leseman '01, Director of Admissions and Mike Brewer, M.S. Licensed School Counselor.
The Guidance and Advancement Offices partnered on this outstanding experience for our CDH juniors.
