1950s

   Dick McCarthy '50 led the way for 25 classmates and friends from the Cretin Class of 1950, as they gathered on the CDH campus on April 18. Father John Forliti '54 celebrated Mass in the Pax Christi Chapel and lunch was enjoyed immediately afterward in the Commons. See more photos from the day.

 

 

 

1970s and 1990s

Inductees for the sold-out, 34th annual Mancini’s St. Paul Sports Hall of Fame banquet at the Char House on May 14 include some notable Raiders: brothers Buzz ’94 and Jack ’98 Hannahan for baseball; and Steve Karel ’76 for basketball.

2000s

   Earlier this month, Joe Mauer ’01 recorded his 2,000th career hit. He joined an impressively select few Twins who have achieved this milestone – Rod Carew and Kirby Puckett. Read more about his feat.

 

 




Not only did Kay Hannahan ’02 get married during our recent infamous April blizzard, the Pioneer Press featured a story about the nuptials. Read the story.

Lauren Gibbemeyer ’07, a member of the USA Volleyball team, competed in the Italian Serie A1 championship series.

Jacob Esch ’08 will be pitching for the St. Paul Saints this summer. Read the team’s press release

2010s

A Denver Post story highlighted the Avalanche’s Mark Alt ’10 with references to his time playing quarterback at CDH. Read more about Mark.

Clare McGuire ’16 was awarded a 2018-19 Wisconsin Idea Fellowship. The Fellowships were presented to projects that are rooted in the concept of addressing needs identified by community partners. Clare is partnering with the LaFarge Medical Clinic to address the high cost of genetic testing within the Plain Communities (including approximately 20,000 Amish and Mennonite members) in Wisconsin. Read more about the Fellowships.
