March 23, 2022
After a 52-51 victory over Owatonna on Tuesday, the Raiders are advancing to the semifinals.
It was a tight game, with the Raiders behind 51-49 with only seconds left. With 22 seconds on the clock, Adam Tauer '23 took a three-pointer from the corner, bringing the Raiders into the lead.
“Adam is just one of our unsung heroes. He finds the way to make plays. He’s so unselfish,” said Head Coach Jerry Kline '93 in the Pioneer Press. “So happy for our team and for him, because we put him on their best guard to defend, and he did an outstanding job. Kudos to him and his mentality. He’s such a team player.”
The Raiders are advancing to the semifinals, which will be held Thursday, March 24 at 8 pm against Wayzata at Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota. Tickets must be purchased online. Tickets are $17 for adults and $11 for students. If they win, the final will be at 8 pm on Saturday at Williams Arena.
