Best Wishes to Retirees

June 12, 2024

This year, three CDH faculty members are retiring, Rob Peick (42 years at CDH), Jeff Rudi (23 years at CDH), and Teri McCloughan (1 year at CDH).

In addition to being a long-time English teacher, Rob Peick brought his passion for social justice to the CDH community. For over 40 years, he coordinated Dorothy Day service for students, a program he started at CDH. He also was instrumental in creating the service program all CDH seniors participate in, coordinating with schools and nonprofits across the Twin Cities for our students to learn from and support.

Jeff Rudi was a CDH math teacher and math team coach known for his ever-available math help and the stream of students always in his classroom to receive it. The AP test pass rates of his AP Calculus AB and BC students were among the highest of any CDH class. Beyond math, Rudi frequently played piano, a particular gift of his, at CDH masses or to support choir and theater rehearsals.

Teri McCloughan served as CDH’s Interim President for the past year, leading our community in the transition to a new president. She is an attorney at Stapleton and McCloughan, PLLC and was previously CDH Board of Directors Chair. In 2012, she was recognized with the Eugene and Mary Frey Community Award for her reflection of the missions and values of CDH.

CDH is incredibly grateful for all of their service and the ways they have each enriched our community  with their gifts. We wish them the best as they start this new chapter of their lives.
