Campus Infrastructure Projects Made Great Progress This Summer
August 28, 2018
Update on campus infrastructure plans: As earlier reported, the Cretin-Derham Hall campus needs a number of significant updates over the next few years. After three months of intense work, a number of our priorities have been addressed and several initial projects wrapped up as the new school year began.
- All wiring in the buildings has been pulled to make way for new wiring for a new network.
- The computer labs are in new locations and our new Virtual Reality Lab is close to completion.
- The new audiovisual classroom upgrades, including projectors, screens, AppleTVs, and speakers, are ready for use pending a bit more electrical work.
- New printers/copiers were installed in the building.
- New LED lighting was installed that will easily pay for itself many times over in terms of better energy usage.
- Coming soon: a new PA system, classroom access, and security camera installation.
