CDH Band Performed in Orlando

Somehow, the band members survived the grueling end of the trimester, ready to depart for the Band Trip to Orlando, March 2-6, 2018. Once they boarded the plane, second trimester was behind them and beautiful Orlando was ahead of them!

The band performed at OrlandoFest with the opportunity to hear other bands and participate in an excellent music clinic. The other performance venue included an exchange concert with the New Horizons band in Melbourne.

Activities included trips to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Certainly, a highlight was “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Islands of Adventure! Another highlight was the trip to Cocoa Beach for a barbeque and a chance to ride the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

It was a great trip to Orlando providing a lifetime of memories!
