CDH Makes Good Showing at State History Day

Gina Neumann, Sam Harris, Aaron Schwinn, Karissa TschidaMore than 1300 students from across the state, including 15 CDH Sophomores, competed in State History Day on April 29. This year's theme was "Taking a Stand in History." Students began working on their projects during first trimester.

All of these projects were begun in November, competed in our CDH competition in February to advance to regionals at Augsburg College.  The next level was the Augsburg Regionals in March for the state competition. After each competition students did additional revision and work to improve their projects for the next level of competition.

Ninth Graders Explore Multiple Intelligences

Every September, ninth graders participate in a workshop on multiple intelligences (MI) as part of their Values classes. This workshop helps students discover their individual strengths and broadens their understanding of what it means to be “smart.”
