CDH President Finalists to Visit Campus in November

The Cretin-Derham Hall Presidential Search continues with a high level of energy and momentum. These past several weeks have been focused on vetting candidates and conducting interviews with the Search Committee.
“Our Search Committee is a very dedicated group of individuals who represent our community in this critical work. Their responsibility is to lead this process with integrity and a sense of mission and to bring forth the most qualified candidates for Cretin-Derham Hall,” explained Maria Wagner Reamer ‘82, Chair of the Search and Chair of the Board of Directors. “I believe our school’s search process, and thus, our future leadership, is in the very best of hands. I am so grateful for their hard work and their generous gift of time to move this process forward.”
Once the Search Committee has completed all the semi-finalist interviews, the finalists will be selected and invited to tour the campus. Each finalist will participate in two days of meetings in November with key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, faculty/staff, students, and community members.
A key step in the process will be a short survey completed by each stakeholder who participates in the meetings or forums following their opportunity to meet each finalist. This feedback will be taken into consideration prior to final discussions with the final candidates.
Community Forum Dates Announced
Community members are invited to meet the finalists at a Community Forum at 4 - 5:30 pm on the following tentative dates: November 13, November 15 and November 27.
If you are interested in participating in the Community Forum for each finalist invited to campus, please hold these dates and times and check the Presidential Search page for updated information. Note: It is strongly recommended that if you attend one finalist forum, you make every attempt to attend every finalist forum in order to provide the most useful feedback to the Search Committee and the Board of Directors before they complete the process.
The Search Committee understands that this may result in short notice of actual meeting dates, but the timeline is quickly evolving at this point. If all goes well, this schedule will enable CDH to select and hire the new President by the end of the year.
The Board of Directors, faculty and staff, and students will also have scheduled times to meet each finalist and will be officially invited to participate once the dates are set.
