Cretin-Derham Hall students Nickolas Owsley, Mary Grace Shearon, and Patrick Connors, with Campus Ministry staff Mr. Sam Vetch and Ms. Sophie Mongoven spent a very warm but productive day helping put the finishing touches on a Habitat for Humanity home in St. Paul Park last week.
The group spent much of the day on their hands and knees measuring, cutting, and laying laminate flooring in a newly constructed three bedroom house, soon to be a home for a family of six. Despite the extreme heat and humidity, several rooms were completed and the CDH team left knowing they helped a family come one step closer to having their own home.
