CDH Theater Presents: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
January 30, 2018
Save the dates for this year's Blackbox Theater presentation.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a play by Simon Stephens based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Mark Haddon.
CDH theater will present this intriguing story in the Black Box Theater over two weekends - February 16-18 and February 23-25.
The play, set in the U.K., is about a 15-year-old amateur detective named Christopher John Francis Boone who is a mathematical genius. He appears to have an unspecified autism spectrum disorder, although the condition is never explicitly stated in the play. The titular curious incident is the mystery surrounding the death of a neighbor's dog, Wellington. While searching for the murderer of the dog, Christopher encounters resistance from many neighbors, but mostly from his father. Christopher argues to himself that many rules are made to be broken, so, thinking of himself as a modern Sherlock Holmes, he continues to search for an answer.
Visit the online CDH Box Office to purchase tickets. Tickets are $10 per person and will be available for purchase on February 5 at 8 a.m. Seating is very limited and the shows are expected to sell out quickly.
