Cretin-Derham Hall Theater Department is proud to present 42nd Street.
One of show business’s most classic and beloved tales, 42nd Street tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, a talented young performer with stars in her eyes who gets her big break on Broadway.
After she arrives in the big city, full of big dreams, Peggy’s talent lands her a role in the chorus of Pretty Lady. After an injury to the leading lady, suddenly Peggy gets a chance to star in the show. Her entertaining rise to Broadway star is a story for the ages.
42nd Street entertains with energetic tap dances and crowd-pleasing ensemble music.
