Celebrating our Sponsors, the Brothers and the Sisters, on Founders' Day
May 23, 2018
The annual Founders' Day Celebration in honor of our sponsors, the Brothers of the Christian Schools and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, was held on May 15, 2018, the traditional day the Brothers celebrate St. John Baptist de La Salle. The day included an all-school assembly in the Joe Mauer Field House.
The celebration focused on both the Christian Brothers and Sisters of St. Joseph, along with our retired faculty and staff.
As part of the program, faculty, staff, and students discussed their faith and their Catholic education. The Choir and special guests contributed music to the gathering.
Afterward, a reception was held in the Commons where retired faculty and staff enjoyed cake and lemonade.
Special thanks to Brian Nalipinski '96, owner of Dairy Queen in Morris, Minnesota, for donating Dilly Bars for the entire CDH school community in honor of the day.
