1940s

The Cretin Class of '47 met for lunch on Memorial day.  Bill Klett’s Army shirt dates to 1952.

 

1950s

Tom King ’56, Bob Loughrea '56

Tom King ’56 and Bob Loughrea ‘56, lifelong friends and classmates, toured CDH. They visited many rooms that are still here and many new spaces like the Ryan STEM Center. Fun fact: Did you know that the current Lillian Theater was their gym back in the 50’s?

Together again! The Class of '57 got together to celebrate Sue Morrison’s recovery.

Fr. Ken Pierre '55 and Fr. George Kinney '55 are celebrating their 60 year anniversary of their ordination this year.

Mike Ackerson '54, Bob Sevenich '54, Jim Pratt '54, Roy Holm '54, Bob Paulson '54, Denny Holisak '54, John Taylor '54, Pete Seghieri '54, Dan Moran '54 and Dan Rossini '54 Cretin graduates, got together for a luncheon. Bob Paulson '54 started the get-together with the recorded Cretin Rouser performed by the Cretin marching band, which they all sang.

 

The Cretin Class of '57 had lunch at Gabes by the Park and met with Teri McCloughan, the new Interim President of CDH.

 

1960s

Jim Whalen ‘67 and his family stopped into CDH for a tour of the school and met with Steve Walsh ‘85.

The Cretin class of '63 had their monthly luncheon at the Pool & Yacht Club side by side with the class of '63 from St. Thomas Academy. Both of these classes meet the second Thursday of each month at the Pool & Yacht Club but are usually in separate rooms. The first photo is of the Cretin class of '63 and the second is of the St. Thomas Academy class of '63.

 

1970s

The class of '72 had a team breakfast.

 

Members of the Cretin Class of '76 had a great day golfing at the Highland Golf Course. The day was organized by Mike Blake. 

Bill Robertson '79 retired from the U.S. hockey league on June 30, 2023. Prior to that he was commissioner of the WCHA for 2 years.

1980s

Paul Kotz '81 wrote a book, Profiles in Kindness: Stories of Inspiration & Everyday Leadership, that was a finalist for the 2021 Best Book of the Year Award. 

Joseph Gallagher '82 will be working at the The Ryder Cup in Rome, Italy in September.

 

The Derham Hall class of '83 created two events for their 40th reunion. They gathered at CDH to pack boxes for Second Stork to honor the Sisters of St. Joseph with a service project and then in the evening they met at the Pool & Yacht Club. 

Joel Chiodi '89 had two documentary series come out. The first is a 4 part doc series called Merpeople. The second is called The Secrets of Hillsong.

 

1990s

Congrats to Michael Noyes '95 as he opens his new restaurant, The High Hat, in St. Paul!

Megan McMahon Plum '96 started a new position as Managing Director and Director of Marketing and Events at Guiding Star Wakota!

Ellie Roscher '98' first children's book, Remarkable Rose, was recently published.

 

2000s

Joe Mauer '01 was inducted into the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame on Aug 5.

 

Bert Christiansen '69 watched Michael Floyd '08 birdy at hole #11 at the m 3M Open Pro-Am.

Matt Riehle '04 plays the father in Next to Normal at Theatre Latte Da.

Hayley Berrisford Mueller '06 has become the Executive Director of the Park Nicollet Foundation.  

 

2010s

Ricardo Johnson III '14 has joined the law firm of Ballard Spahr as an associate in Mergers and Acquisitions.

 

The Class of 2017 recently celebrated their 6-year reunion. The event was held at Plum's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. The reunion committee included: Molly Johnson '17, Amanda Reding '17, Sam Miller '17, Mandy Weegman '17, and Marina Tschida '17.  

2020s

 

Will Burke '20 was announced as a nominee for the 2023 Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team.
 
 

Riley Bray '22 and Kali Bray '22, both attend Bethany College in Mankato as Biology majors and scored high marks on their clay target team. Riley and Kali took 1st and 2nd place in both the skeet and sporting clays conference and Kali took 2nd in trap conference championships. The overall team finished second in conference for seasonal play.

Josh Garcia ’20 just finished up his third year at the University of St. Thomas on the Dean’s List where he is also in his third year working for the UST Men’s Basketball program under Coach John Tauer ’91
