Bob (Boz) Metzdorf '63 - A vinyl record collector recently discovered his first solo album, Signs Of Seasons, (recorded in 1978) at a used vintage record store. He wrote a very positive review of the album on a music blog and requests came in from the west coast and then from most of Europe, Scandinavia and Australia. Soon he was signed by Anthology Recordings of New York who released the song Sails Across The Sea in 2019 on a vintage collection of artists called Sad About The Times. Anthology Recordings has released the entire album of the 11 individual songs on Signs Of Seasons. Purchase CD at birdseyeviewproductions.net.
Steve Nachtscheim '63 was recognized by the University of St. Thomas as one of the innovative founders. “While still an undergraduate, Stephen Nachtsheim helped design and propose the Quantitative Methods and Computer Science (QMCS) program at St. Thomas – the first computer science major at a Minnesota liberal arts college. After his graduation in 1967, Nachtsheim served for six years as St. Thomas’ director of campus computing – even while teaching courses in this new major. His background in database management later led to a distinguished career at Intel. Nachtsheim became a member of the St. Thomas Board of Trustees in 2002 and was recognized with the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2009.”
