▲ The Class of 1949 (Cretin and Derham Hall) was on campus for their 75th Anniversary Reunion! The day included Mass, luncheon, tour of the school and cake to celebrate Frank Goswitz ’49 on his 93rd birthday.

1960s

Members of the Cretin class of '65 took their annual Wisconsin Golf Tour to Turtleback GC in Rice Lake, Wisconsin on July 17, 2024. The class has lunch on the first Wednesday of the month at Skinner’s, 1 pm as well. Class members from around the country have attended and know that we ALWAYS get together on the first Wednesday of the month, should they be in town. All are invited! 1970s

▲ Cretin (pictured) and Derham Hall alumni from the class of ‘74 were on campus celebrating their 50th reunion! They toured the school before their reunion class dinners.

In a recent Town and Country Club men’s scramble event that ended in the dark, two golfers — Dan Bettenburg ‘83 and Doug Kottke — teeing off on the same par-three 18th hole, made holes-in-one. (from Pioneer Press)

 

1990s

▲ Matt Skally '92 received the honor of being named O'Dea High School's Father of the Year.

▲ John Berthiaume ‘92 is beginning his 30th season with the National Hockey League and is currently the Crew Supervisor for the Chicago Off Ice Crew. Throughout his career he has worked outdoor games at Wrigley Field, Soldier Field, and Notre Dame Stadium, as well as Premier Games in Helsinki, Finland and 3 Stanley Cup Finals. One of his biggest highlights was working alongside friend and classmate Bryan Dan ‘92, who is now on the hometown crew in Minnesota. 

Keith Arnold ‘98, the former Cretin-Derham Hall and Notre Dame pitcher who was lead producer of the Netflix summer hit “Find Me Falling” starring Harry Connick Jr., controls movie rights for the St. Paul-based novel “Until They Bring the Streetcars Back,” which he’s working on. Arnold is also a lead private equity producer for Minneapolis-based Brown & Brown. (from Pioneer Press)

 

2000s

Nick Niewinski '06, CPPM, MBA accepted a position with Venture Solutions.

▲ Sean Scullin '07 and his six-year-old son, Lionel, who has a degenerative retinal disease that severely impairs his vision, completed RAGBRAI 51 together, riding over 430 miles across Iowa on a bamboo bike to raise funds for the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation. Their story has been featured in five newspapers in Iowa: The Burlington Hawkeye, The Winterset Madisonian, The Ottumwa Courier, The Mount Pleasant Tribune, and the Des Moines Register. 

▲ Several alumni caught up with each while competing on different teams in the 2024 USA Ultimate Masters Championships held July 19-22 in Aurora, CO. All played on the Raging Safari ultimate frisbee team while at CDH. Alicia’s team, Surly GMX, are National Champs!

 

2010s

Quinn Sarafolean '10 started a new position at PlanetArt.

▲ Kevin Duffy '12 was elevated to a senior member of the Green Bay Packers equipment staff. 

Cullen Wiley '16 accepted a position at CDH as the Theater Teacher and Director. Go Raiders!

Will Dusek '19 was recently profiled in a Star Tribune article about “Up and Coming Performers in the Twin Cities.

 

2020s

Keely Salisbury '21 accepted a position with Make-A-Wish North Dakota.

Joshua Flaminio '22 is a Recruiting & Scouting Intern at Kansas Athletics.
