December 10, 2024

Cretin-Derham Hall celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with a special Mass on December 9, officiated by Fr. Pat Kennedy '69 and focusing on the theme "Saying yes to loving the dear neighbor."

Student contributions were central to the celebration. Sky McLeod '25 offered a communion meditation, while Delvin Tacheny '25 provided a prelude and offertory with violin music. Rainer Kallok '27 supported the music ministry on bass guitar, and a brass quartet - composed of Joe Bartels '27, Joe Massari '27, Garrett Poynter '25, and Mark Loeffler '25 - contributed their musical talents to the celebration as well.

Campus Ministry’s Mark McGuire highlighted the importance of student involvement, saying, “I really can’t overemphasize the importance of having so many students stepping up and getting involved with Mass.”
