Fr. Pat Kennedy'69 Celebrates 40 Years as a Priest
May 22, 2017
For the past 40 years, Father Patrick Kennedy'69 has dedicated his life to serving Catholics throughout the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Father is currently serving as the pastor of St. Olaf Catholic Church in Minneapolis and chaplain at Cretin-Derham Hall.
A St. Paul native, Father Kennedy lived just a block from St. Luke's Catholic Church and School (now St. Thomas More). His Catholic faith was instilled in him first by his parents and then augmented and nurtured by the parish priests and Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. After graduating from St. Luke's in 1965, he entered Cretin High School and graduated in 1969. Fr. Kennedy attended the University of St. Thomas and the seminary.
CDH is truly blessed to have him serve our community in such an important role. Congratulations Father Kennedy on your 40th Anniversary in the priesthood! Thank you for your service.
