Congratulations to Joe Mauer '01, who was named to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot on January 22, 2024.
The Cretin-Derham Hall community is proud to call him an outstanding Raider, a legendary Minnesota Twin, and now a Hall of Famer! His athleticism, leadership, and heart - both on and off the field - have earned him this distinctive honor. Fun fact: CDH is one of a very small group of schools that have two alumni selected for the Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Mauer joins Paul Molitor '74 with this distinction.
