The JROTC Raider Brigade celebrated its Annual Dining-In dinner on December 2nd in the Cretin-Derham Hall Commons. The dinner is voluntary, and usually one third of the Corps' 216 cadets attend.

The exact origin of Dining-In is not known, but it is a formal dinner gathering that is believed to date back as far as the Vikings. It is still a long standing tradition of the U.S. Military today. The formal dinner follows a strict etiquette, and is often filled with hi-jinx, points of order, camaraderie, and penalty for lack of decorum which may result in drinking the dreaded grog.

It is one of two formal dining events hosted by JROTC annually, followed by the ever popular JROTC Military Ball in February, where attendance normally tops 250 cadets and their guests.
