Our Library Director curates great reads for our students every day. Now, she's sharing some recommendations for the rest of our community to enjoy. Stay tuned every month for new suggestions!

Fiction

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
A classic for good reason - travel back with the Pevensie children into a land of eternal winter and rediscover the magic through the wardrobe.

Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield
When the Thames brings a mysterious girl into a small riverside pub, she changes the destinies of three local families forever. Perfect for a chilly night curled up inside, this story bids one come close to the fire where folklore and myth collide with science and the supernatural.

Non Fiction

The Bright Ages: A New History of Medieval Europe by Matthew Gabriele
A lively and magisterial popular history that refutes common misperceptions of the European Middle Ages, showing the beauty and communion that flourished alongside the dark brutality—a brilliant reflection of humanity itself.

The Little Women Devotional by Rachel Dodge
The Little Women Devotional offers lovely inspiration that explores the themes of faith, family, contentment, wisdom, and joy in the classic Louisa May Alcott novel, cherished by generations of readers.
