Mourning the Loss of Religion Teacher Joe Moss
December 15, 2021
We are heartbroken to share that Religion teacher Joe Moss passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sunday.
He leaves behind his wife, Heide, and two sons, Ben and Noah.
Moss had taught at CDH for 11 years and will be deeply missed by our community.
"We were blessed with his commitment to our students and his faith that he so passionately shared with us all," said Principal Mona Passman. "He had a special connection with students who needed extra guidance or a little TLC."
His obituary ran in the Star Tribune earlier this week. The mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 18, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (5071 Eden Ave in Edina). There will be visitation one hour before the mass as well as from 5-7 pm Friday, December 17 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel.
CDH will be holding a prayer service for Moss later this week.
