New: Admissions Office Offers Parent Tours

October 9, 2019

Parents now have the opportunity to tour the campus during the school day, giving them the chance to not only learn more about CDH but to see a typical day in action.  The new parent tour format offers the best opportunity to experience what CDH has to offer.

The small group parent tours replace the traditional evening open houses.  Parents have a chance to see and hear more about the things that matter most to their families. Current students and parents also join the tour to answer questions.

The goal of this new format is to give parents not only the information needed to make a school decision, but also a sense of the vibe on campus. Each tour lasts about 90 minutes and gives parents a chance to see classrooms in action, meet members of the CDH community, and understand how their child would fit here.

"Being able to see CDH 'in action' gave us a true sense of the environment. There is a much different energy the school gives off when it is filled with the spirit of its' students. In a time when a personal connection is often pushed aside in favor of efficiency, this was a welcome change and made us feel a part of the community." - Catholic Grade School parent

"We noticed the warm feeling of the school...we got the feeling that the people (students/staff) care and take pride in their school. We walked the halls and enjoyed noticing the small class sizes. We toured classroom areas, athletic facilities, theater, music and art areas - each area of the school was given equal attention and we sensed that CDH emphasized each area of learning and its link to the development of its students. By the end of the tour, we were very impressed with the school itself as well as the mission of CDH."  - Public School parent

Tours are offered throughout January. Register for your Parent Tour today!  Find out how to schedule your child's Student Visit, too!
