The Parents’ Association Staff Appreciation Committee hosted a January Staff Appreciation Day and in May hosted an End Of Year Thank You Day to show their gratitude for all the exceptional teachers and staff at CDH do for our students and families. Countless parent volunteers contributed time, decorations, beverages, food, desserts, and cash donations to help make the day a great success.
In January, Staff Appreciation Day began with a hearty breakfast and hot coffee donated by Skinners and supplemented by donations of bagels, donuts and fruit platters. Lunch included a soul-warming array of soups and sandwiches from Skinners and fresh baked cookies and bars provided by parent donations. We finished the day with a fabulous taco bar from El Burrito Mercado. Trader Joes donated the lovely floral bouquets.
In May, Our Thank You Day once again started with a staff favorite: breakfast and coffee from Skinners with CDH family donations of bagels, donuts, and fruit. To top off the day we served a delicious lunch of warm sandwiches, soup and salad. The tables were beautifully decorated with red roses donated by Trader Joes.
Thank you to all the volunteers to who donated, baked, served and helped with cleanup. Without your support, this event would not be possible. A special note of thanks goes out to the CDH maintenance staff that help us all in so many ways. Finally, we would like to recognize and thank Skinners, El Burrito Mercado, and Trader Joes.
