Respect Life Month celebrated at CDH
October 28, 2016
The CDH Respect Life team held a clothing drive for newborn babies as part of Respect Life Month. Over 140 items of new and gently used clothing were donated and given to Second Stork, a local organization founded by Derham Hall alums in 2009, that supports mothers in need as they leave the hospital with their newborns.
On Wednesday, October 26 CDH held the annual Day of Silent Solidarity for the Unborn. Seventy students decided to give up their voice for one day on behalf of those who have had their voices permanently silenced by abortion. Participants wore red arm bands that say "Respect Life" on them and carried cards that explained why they were not speaking.
Thanks to the Respect Life Team, and to all who donated and participated this week.
