Seniors in Spectrum periods 6/7 spent the last weeks of the trimester studying environmental issues and Pope Francis' encyclical: Laudato Si.
Over the course of this unit, the seniors read nine different books that covered everything from species extinction to effects of nuclear testing. During finals week, the teams presented their topics during an Environmental Expo.
Owen Keeley'18, Nora Jolowsky'18, Kate Van Meter'18, Myah Wells'18, and Grace Conklin'18 showcase their "Seasick" presentation based on the book, Seasick: Ocean Change and the Extinction of Life on Earth by Alanna Mitchell.
