Seniors Lead Swim Team to Success
By Lisa Thomas, Head Coach
October 9, 2020
CDH Swim and dive has started this season with 40 swimmers and divers and no home pool!
We have found the joy in being an on-the-road team and sharing in amazing accomplishments by all! As we enter into our few weeks and our final few meets, we look to honor our five seniors In CDH Swim and Dive.
Seniors Carmella McGee ’21, Allison Youtt ’21, Vivian Schnitzer-Barry ’21, Glenna Wethington ’21 and Kinni Rubbelke ’21 have made the commitment to be our leaders in and out of the pool. Thank you seniors!
With the state tournament being cancelled, some of our swimmers and divers will compete in a final meet next week while others are preparing for an October 22 dive and/or October 23 Swim section meet as the final competition of this 2020 season.
Heading into these final meets has been no easy task! With three months of training in a pandemic, faced with new rules, regulations and covid quarantine situations, CDH Swimmers and Divers have continued to improve!
As the section meet approaches, CDH swimmers and divers are in position for strong finishes! Good luck to all our swimmers and divers!
