Wall art was installed in the McCloughan Carondelet Conference Room this month to honor the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. The beautiful art includes significant dates in their history as well as historical photos.
After consultation with Sr. Mary Kraft, archivist for the CSJ's who serves on the CDH Board of Directors, approval was granted for CDH to replicate an artistic presentation of the proud history of the Sisters. The original art is currently located on the campus of St. Catherine's University.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the McCloughan Carondelet Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the Sunberg Leadership Center to see the art.
In honor of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet will be honored in a special CSJ's Founders' Day Celebration on March 20, the day following the feast of St. Joseph. The day will include an all-school assembly and recognition of students and faculty who embody the values of the Sisters, as well as a reception and dedication of the art. A day of celebration for the Christian Brothers is scheduled for May 15.
