Spreading Holiday Cheer One Concert at a Time
Donna Novey, Band Director and Isaac Lovdahl, Choir Director
December 20, 2017
The Joe Mauer Field House was filled with Christmas spirit as the CDH Music Department presented it's annual Christmas Concert on December 18.
The featured ensembles included: The Chamber Singers, the Concert Choir, the CDH Choral Artists, the Jazz Band, and the Concert Band. The audience joined in at the end of the performance by singing "Silent Night" to set the mood for this Holy Season.
The Band has a busy schedule this winter, including the SEC Music Festival on January 29, the 4AA Solo/Ensemble Contest on February 10, and their next Band Concert on February 21 at CDH. The band will end the winter months with their annual Band Trip to Orlando in March. As always the concerts at CDH are free to the public and all are welcome to join.
The Choir is looking forward to the SEC Music Festival on January 29. Also, we invite our CDH community to join us for the Spring Choir Concert to be held on May 17.
