Students Advance in History Day Competition

Update: State Competition

Eleven CDH students representing seven projects participated in the State History Day Competition this past Saturday. This group is among the top 6 percent of the thousands participating in Minnesota History Day this year!

Three of these students advanced to the final round and earned awards. They are:

Holly Johnson ‘26 - Individual Documentary - Honorable Mention - Turning Point For Women’s Service In The Military

Grace Nickel ‘25 and Emily Boss ‘25 - Group Website - Honorable Mention - Dorothea Lang: Turning Points in Photojournalism


Several CDH students competed in the Metro Senior Regional History Day Competition this year. The following students' projects have been chosen by the judges to advance to the State Competition on Saturday April 20 at the Minneapolis Convention Center:
