The fall High School Model UN State Conference was held on November 8th, 2016, at Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Cretin-Derham Hall sent 18 students representing 10 different countries discussing the topic of ensuring Universal Access to Water.
The students worked with 14 other Minnesota high schools to research, caucus and propose resolutions to this very relevant issue.
The winter Model UN conference will be held on January 14th, 2017, at Edina High School.
The Model UN group at CDH accepts anyone who is interested and there is still time to join. Meetings are held on Mondays at 3 p.m. throughout the school year in Room C101. To find out more information, contact Jody Cornett.
