Students Raise Funds for Chimbote
May 8, 2017
Seniors Claire Shaw, Beth Zobitz and Audrey Hapka, along with Mrs. Patty Murray attended a gathering for Friends of Chimbote on Saturday, May 6 at the University of St. Thomas.
CDH presented a check for almost $2000 to Katie Richards, Volunteer Coordinator in Chimbote, Peru, and Todd Mickelson, Executive Director of Friends of Chimbote in Fargo, ND. The money was raised from the April CDH Cares out-of-uniform fundraiser at school. Thank you to all who donated!
Another mission group from CDH will be heading to Chimbote for service work in July. Please keep them in your prayers.
