Students Send Holiday Greetings to U.S. Troops
December 14, 2018
The Service Committee of the Student Council once again organized a drive to write holiday cards to our U.S. troops serving away from home. Friends and family identified members of the armed forces with a connection to CDH.
Hundreds of cards were written and bundled with a cover letter that read, in part, "Cretin-Derham Hall would like to thank you for the generous sacrifice you make for our safety...Enclosed are cards written by Cretin-Derham Hall students and staff that we hope communicate our gratitude."
The Service Committee members spent time before school sorting the hundreds of cards and getting them ready to send to 24 people with a CDH connection who are currently serving our country.
