Support Your Favorite Co-curricular(s)

April 26, 2023

CDH education is about so much more than what you learn in the classroom. It's also about the friendships, leadership experience, and skills that you gain in athletics, arts, and other co-curriculars. That's why we hold GiveCDH Day: Beyond the Books. It gives our alumni, parents and friends an opportunity to directly support the co-curriculars that they love.

“Every good thing requires resources and support. We appreciate the opportunity to give directly to some of the programs and teams at CDH that have been such special, fun, and developmental experiences for our kids.” - Dan and Molly Stangler, CDH Parents

The CDH community starts, but doesn't end, in a classroom. Between CASA families, 27 sports teams and 54 co-curriculars, there is something for everyone and our 95% level of participation is proof! Co-curriculars are the nexus of inter-grade connection. Activities like theater rely on students’ ability to pass down knowledge and technique, from operating the lighting equipment to improvisation skills. Participation in athletics is considered an extension of the school day and provides additional means to carry out the mission and values of Cretin-Derham Hall.

“I've developed my leadership skills by joining Student Council, Link Crew, and being in sports.” - Tavary Un '23

Early giving begins tomorrow, April 27. Keep an eye out for the e-mail! GiveCDH Day: Beyond the Books is May 4, 2023. Make a difference for our students by donating!

“Empty Bowls, an annual event made possible through community-wide support, is one of many examples of CDH living out 'Love God and the Dear Neighbor, without Distinction.'” - Peter Gleich, Campus Ministry
