Three members of the Class of 2020 have been awarded Schulze Family Foundation Scholarships. These competitive awards are for $20,000 ($5,000 per year) and recipients, in addition to achieving academically, must have distinguished themselves by community service or school activities.

CDH Co-Curriculars: Basketball, football, lacrosse, JROTC, Dorothy Day, LaSallian youth group, the blood drive, and Empty Bowls.

Favorite CDH Memory: The final game of our basketball season, with a game-winning shot from Curtis Jones.

Advice for ninth graders: Always be kind, friendly, and respectful. No matter who it is, everyone has a story to tell, be there to listen to it. Finally, be thankful for the time you have here at CDH, it goes by fast and it is definitely some of the greatest years of your life.

Jacques Lewis

Major: Finance

Favorite CDH Memory: The Homecoming festivities, especially the football game and pep fest my senior year.

Advice for ninth graders: Develop good time management skills and studying habits as a freshman because it will help you in the long run. Also, I recommend playing a sport, acting in a show or trying something new so you can get involved at the school.

Congratulations, Raiders!
