Tom Gartland'75 Visits CDH's Business Department

Tom Gartland'75 visited the CDH Business Department to speak with two of our Accounting classes on September 21. Gartland, the former President of Avis Budget North America, shared insight on business today as well as his knowledge and experience gained over his career that spans 40 successful years.

 

In talking with the students, he emphasized the importance of hard work and focused his message on how 'business is personal'. Gartland is currently finishing his first book Lead with the Heart which will be published in the spring of 2018 and plans to return at the end of the school year to discuss the book.
