College Application Boot Camp Leaves Students Prepared and Confident

The CDH counseling department held it's annual College Application Boot Camp in August to prepare rising seniors with the resources and understanding to navigate the college application process with confidence.

Mass was held on August 29 to officially welcome Myers as president and bless the start of the new school year with new and returning students, faculty, and staff.

Summer Teacher Academy Takes a Civil Rights Journey Through the South

For this year's Teacher Academy, CDH selected Spanish teacher Dr. Alexis Howe’s proposal, “Learning for Justice: A Civil Rights Journey through Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma, Birmingham, and Tuskegee.” At the end of June, Howe and six other teachers traveled through Georgia and Alabama to visit Civil Rights Movement landmarks, memorials, and museums. 

New Faces Bring New Energy to CDH Music

It’s an exciting time for music at Cretin-Derham Hall as CDH welcomes new band director Teddy Williams. Williams will join choir director Delilah Schuster, who started at CDH last year, in continuing to grow music education for students. 

CDH Performance Dance Team Adds Sideline Dancing to Boost School Spirit

This fall, the CDH Performance Dance Team will perform on the sidelines during the first half of home football games in addition to their usual halftime routines.

Joe Mauer ‘01 has had a remarkable year.  He was honored as a National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee on the first ballot,  a National High School Hall of Fame inductee, and the Catholic Athletics Association’s Outstanding Athlete of the Quarter Century.

Frank Miley Named Affiliated Member of the Christian Brothers

Frank Miley, former president of Cretin-Derham Hall, has been recognized as an Affiliated Member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools for his nearly four decades of dedicated service to advancing the Lasallian mission. His contributions include significant initiatives in education, community building, and promoting the values of faith and service within the Lasallian tradition.
